Yamunotri: The westernmost shrine of Yamunotri, which is located close to the river Yamuna's source, is one of the most frequented shrines in the Char Dham Yatra Package. On the left side of the Yamuna River stands the Yamunotri temple, which was constructed by Maharaja Pratap Shah, the King of Tehri Garhwal. The river has played a significant role in the advancement of civilization in northern India and is revered by all Hindus as a divine mother and goddess.
Gangotri: Gangotri Dham is regarded as one of the most revered and holy places for the Hindus. It is located on the banks of the river Bhagirathi at an elevation of over 3200 m above sea level. A significant role for Gangotri is played in the Char Dham package. The Gaumukh Glacier, also referred to be the Ganges River's source, is located along a walk route from Gangotri. Visitors to Gaumukh Glacier must have authorization from the government.
Kedarnath: The most revered pilgrimage among those in Hinduism, Kedarnath Temple is regarded as the holiest. One of the twelve Jyotirlingas of the Lord Shiva, Kedarnath is located at an altitude of 3585 metres above sea level and is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas. There is a 14 km hike path from Gaurikund to this shrine. However, a helicopter ride that departs from Phata can also take you to the temple. This temple has an extremely low oxygen level and is located in the highest location of the Char Dham Yatra Package.
Badrinath: The fourth dham, Badrinath, often referred to as Badri Vishal, is the most well-known and most visited of the Chardhams. It is situated between the Nar and Narayan peaks, with the Neelkanth peak in the distance. The largest and most revered of the five Badris, also known as the Panch Badri, is Badrinath. Adi Guru Shankracharya founded Badrinath as one of India's Char Dhams (four dhams).
